On this episode of 808’s & Convo, the energy is anything but quiet…
We kick things off with some unexpected tension as Justin Bieber and Usher reportedly get into a heated exchange at Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Oscars afterparty. What really went down behind those elite doors—and does this hint at deeper industry friction?
From there, we shift to a bigger conversation: is Hov still relatable? With Jay-Z sitting firmly in billionaire status, we debate whether the everyday listener can still connect to his music, or if he’s evolved beyond the culture that built him.
Next up, Terrence Howard has been making headlines with some… let’s just say interesting stories. Are these deep truths the world isn’t ready for, or is this a classic case of chasing attention in the viral era?
And finally, we tap into City Girls drama as Yung Miami opens up about her fallout with JT. Is this just a bump in the road or the beginning of the end for one of hip-hop’s most dynamic duos?
Tap in as we break it all down with unfiltered takes, real conversation, and that signature 808’s & Convo vibe.

SPEAKER_04Oh, this is this guy. Stook in the winter. This is such an art. Where do I begin? If they were put the same tenor in the church cry. Really, I was flexing, but the girls they were fine. I'm the type of guy that noticed subtle signs. When I come online, she ain't even trying to look sexy. But even if she was, so what? Motherfucker grow up. Don't mean to be so abrupt. But that lets me know that she's a human being. And being humans hard on the boulevard. Good, you got it bad. Glad I'm not one. But yet you got it good. You are the hot one. But I'm Andre, Benjamin Andre, to be exact. You'd hope to meet a gentleman one day. Well, this is that. In fact, Dookie introduced us at a show about a year or so ago. I don't know. Mine slips me. I'm in the southern states, you know why all the pimps be dressing all boogie and carrying ugly cups. And yes, you're getting booed if your shit do not get down. And yes, you're getting sued by women who didn't get up out they seat on the bus. And beat shouldn't rust. And beat is a must. And we shouldn't lust, but we do. I'm laughing at the calendars and clocks. Ask up to match the socks. What's in your speaker box? Pink and blue. You lollygaggin, you're slow poking, you got me open, you're playing with me, darling. I'm not a toy. As if I need a baker brings the joy, you're a common. I'm a tiner, meaning the real McCoy. I can't wait. Get away, get away, I don't get away, don't get away.
SPEAKER_07I'm gonna fit. Right about the time, raise your glasses. What's my motivation? I ask this. Start a conversation like a you really want to know about a day, and that's shit. Go to the drawback twist. Gotta tell these souls to our ears. Bitch, shame again. I'm inspired when people don't like me. It's just me right things. So exciting. Man, the drama is so enticing.
SPEAKER_06I might just fight a motherfucker like Tyson.
SPEAKER_07So you can't. That's kicking icing. I asked a U by just no just ticing. Maybe that's good. You just take found the right thing. Yeah, you got it too much.
SPEAKER_12Oh you find it. Oh let me show you the fine. Let me let me stop your door.
unknownLet me tell you what it's like to be a white boy.
SPEAKER_00After that. Damn, baby, all I need is a little bit, a little bit of this, a little bit of that. Get a cracking in the flood when you hit a shit. Go shake that thing. I wanna touch that thing. Nigga make it go round, down, round. Step up in the club. I'm like, who you with? Unit in the house. Yeah, that's my clip. Yum, young, but a nigga from the old school. On the dance floor, nigga don't oh move. I don't give a fuck. I do what I wanna do. I ain't tell that stuff, boy. I don't wanna do. Listen when I talk, nigga don't trip. Yo, heat in the car, mine's in this. I tryna be tryna get my drink on. Now my time is my fitted in my make on. I'ma figure that the ball till it's time to go. Then I'ma get you the head and I'ma let her know. All I nigga really need is a little bit. Not a lot, baby girl, just a little bit. We can head to the crib in a little bit. I can show you how I live in a little bit. I wanna unbutton your pants just a little bit. Take them all, pull them down just a little bit. Get the kiss in the touch in a little bit. Get the lick in it in a little bit.
SPEAKER_09I wanna finally find a way to stay. I wanna find away.
SPEAKER_10Yep, sir, that's her. But it wasn't like that back when I met her. The laugh is like from all of those fun. Before the double law had to hitch like dumb. Friends didn't like niggas like us, but I addressed the coochie and the fillers got cut. Spider web text must have got caught up. But there's more to it, I remember saying less shit on the peons. That's for the biggest don't watch the lean beyond. Make a mistake for we all say no like you're stupid. The eons fuck that I just cover. Let the watch give up the beons when it rains with my touch. When I changed the story, you said my text was a lot, but my brain gave you more. I guess they play games. That's only diamond dice here. Not tryna justify when you touch it.
SPEAKER_08You can touch the sky. You in trouble, Mama. But it's about you. When you think it's about me.
SPEAKER_09When I finally found the wheel and I'm playing top of the motor, top of the border.
SPEAKER_06Yes, sir. We in here.
SPEAKER_12Uh we out here.
SPEAKER_06We out, shit, man.
SPEAKER_01What's going on? What's going on? Shaking world.
SPEAKER_06Yes, sir. What's up with it, everybody? Welcome back to 808 to Convo, the music podcast for music fans, by music fans. I'm that guy, Emoji. And you here with your bell tap. This is episode 23.
SPEAKER_01Bentiz.
SPEAKER_06I see that's a repetitive team. I like that you do that. You gotta translate for our Spanish-speaking audience. You know what I'm saying? Bentirez. Two tree. Two tree, yeah. For the Jamaicans, too. 23, man. Episode. I sound like I sound like that crab from fucking Little Merbay.
SPEAKER_01Why you don't hear me?
SPEAKER_06What's going on, sis?
SPEAKER_01What's going on? What's going on, man?
SPEAKER_06Not much, man. Not much. Little under the weather.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you don't see that, man. Everybody's sick, man. Mom's sick. Everybody got the ill. You sick. This one's sick. That one's sick. Jimmy's sick. Oh no. I'm just around a whole bunch of germs. No, dogs. See, these people, the people's trying to get me sick, folks. Nah, we're not trying. Nah, nah, nah. You're right. You're not trying. You're not trying. You know exactly what you're doing. No, I'm not. Not doing on purpose either. I'm glad you know. Now I know that I gotta take some vitamins in the morning. These are lies. I don't know. I don't know. And and tall tales you're telling right now. It's crazy. Like Wahao Fane already all. You know what? We're not even gonna go there. Anyway. That's a lie you tell. Oh my goodness. Don't go patois me now. You're about to start talking about the biggest thing.
SPEAKER_06Nah, if you stop if somebody slay my dumb ass. Yeah. Trying to, ooh, I shouldn't know. They're gonna mush you up.
SPEAKER_01They're gonna mush up your box size. Mash it up. Mash it up. They probably gonna laugh at me. Shut up. I don't, but I know exactly everything you know. That's offending. You hear me? Yeah. You hear me?
SPEAKER_06Oh shit. Yeah. What do we wanna jump into first?
SPEAKER_01It's a lot of things going on in this world, world between the politics, the stupidity. Ice at T uh at the airports, TSA talking about they're about to shut everything down. Oh yeah. It's a lot going on.
SPEAKER_06A lot of scary shit going on. A lot of scary scary times. Now we're not normally a politics kind of podcast, but like I know y'all paying attention to the news right now. Everybody's paying attention to everything. You know what I'm saying? Scary times, you guys better be vigilant. Make sure you got eyes open, ears open. Yeah. Get it, better get a doomsday package.
SPEAKER_01Self-awareness. Yeah, I ain't gonna lie, my little sister's mom be like, you know what I'm saying? Like, talking about this package, like this doomsday package, but that she said that she got the stroll that it filters the water. She's like, Mariah, I'm gonna order you something.
SPEAKER_06You know that's crazy when we're thinking that far. That's how you know shit is crazy. Like we we gotta think like that. Like just have to. Now we gotta have canned foods, batteries, flashlights, all type of shit. You gotta ask what's even at all.
SPEAKER_01Everything that's going on, the shit that happened with LG at LGA the other day.
SPEAKER_06Oh, with the plane crash?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like that that that that's unfortunate that appeared suspicious to me very much so. You think so, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, because rest in peace of those pilots, man, that lost their lives.
SPEAKER_01No, yeah, and the people that were injured, you know, unfortunately, like it's a sad situation.
SPEAKER_06Did anything happen to those fire workers? The fire, the fireworks? Oh, I don't know. I didn't look too much.
SPEAKER_01All I heard was that the pilots died. Yeah, but people were severely injured. First I saw 40, then I saw 60. I'm like, alright, how many is it? Not that I didn't care, but obviously when I saw it, I was at work. No, no, no. I saw it in the morning, getting ready for work. Yeah. But obviously I have to drive to work. Right. My commute is ridiculous, so I'm not looking at my phone. So I never, you know, revisited it when I got back to the office. Um but I did see something like in in passing, just scrolling on the web. 40 people got severely injured, 60 people. I'm like, all right, oh my god. I just hope that everyone is well. Yeah. That's crazy. Hopefully everybody's still alive. You know, part of, you know, the fatalities that the deceased, yeah, unfortunately. Absolutely. You know, blessings to the to the family in regards to them. People are losing people every day. That's a fact, man.
SPEAKER_06You know, love who love on you. Prayers up to those guys that lost their lives and the people that got themselves injured.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, these people are tired too. That could be another thing. They're overly worked. Was that plane uh taking off or landing? Again, I wouldn't even be able to tell you. I think it was an emergency land that they were doing. Oh, that sucks. And that's what happened. Cause something had happened with the shit in the air, and that's as far as I can go. I don't want to falsify or you know misinform anybody, but yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I was at work. I don't work too far from the airport. So when I seen that shit, I'm like, damn, that was so dangerously close. You know what I'm saying? Just to hear that had happened, like, and it's like I'm like 15 minutes away from there. My job, I'm like, I'm just like, damn. It really struck a nerve when I seen that shit. It was an Air Air Canada, I think. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm like, damn, man. That's so unfortunate. My condolences to everybody who were injured and lost their lives in that matter.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, people and people are taking losses right now. Speaking of which.
SPEAKER_06And you got this old Trump got fucking his little goon squad in airports causing six, seven hours of delays. That shit is crazy. If you guys don't have to fly out anywhere, don't go anywhere. Don't go anywhere.
SPEAKER_01Puerto Rico talking about they're about to shut down the airport. Why is that? What the hell did Anatomy? Oh, because there's lines all the way over like this bridge. Just like for the airport? So there's like so when you land as on one, there's like this long ass bridge. Like to g it's like over water to get to the airport. And that shit is long. When I tell you it has to be like maybe probably the same amount of yards as a football field. So like professional football field.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So they're saying that the lines are getting as long as that. Like people are like out there. Oh my god. So the fact that people are standing all the way out of that. That's insane. That's insane. And and what I did notice was that um Trump well not Trump, but the White House. Elon Musk's proposal of paying the TSA workers to continue working. They definitely shut down his advances and turned them away. And I'm like, oh now, now but back then when it was beneficial for you guys, oh yeah. Oh yeah, had him in the White House doing all types of clown shit. Like and then it's like now that people need the money, they need their jobs.
SPEAKER_06Y'all wanna put these these motherfuckers, you know what I'm saying? These MFers, yeah. This shit is incredibly inconveniencing to everybody, you know. Uh I'm pretty sure people just want to get home to their families, their loved ones. It's just way too much. You know what I'm saying? And even Americans gotta go through this process. It's insane.
SPEAKER_01Like And no, we're not we're not we're not a pod who who talks about or discusses anything political or anything of that nature. However, this is 808 and convos. Yeah. So we are gonna have convos here and there that doesn't pertain to music. Amen. Even though music goes makes the world go round, you know. We know that. That's why we do this. Exactly. Because we gotta keep our sanity because with all this crazy shit that's going on in this world, it's just like we just don't know. You don't know. Like you gotta that's what I said, you gotta love them who love you. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_06Like and we ain't got a lot of time left, man. Unfortunately, I hate to say like it don't look like it at all. Yeah, I hate to put it that way, but if you wanna be realistic, yeah, we ain't got a lot of time here, man.
SPEAKER_01And they just up the age for for for people to to join the military. I heard. I think it's uh 45.
SPEAKER_06Or forty five like that.
SPEAKER_01So I'm like, oh yeah, that's because n and and and you can pass, you can fail uh marijuana um Yeah, I seen that. Yeah. Exam. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yep, I seen that.
SPEAKER_01Oh they're still shipping motherfuckers off. They they just don't care.
SPEAKER_06It sounds like the United States is super desperate. I don't think nobody wanna fight this war.
SPEAKER_01Like that shit is ridiculous. No like right now, like I think just a week ago, my cousin told me that her son, my little cousin, he's joining the Marines. He leaves in September. He might leave sooner with all the shit that's going on.
SPEAKER_06He's going for the training. That's a very intense and vigorous training.
SPEAKER_01No, yeah, it is. And I'm just like, you know. I wish him all the best. I'm praying for him. My I got another cousin that's he's in the submarine right now. He's underwater, so like I don't even know what that looked like for him. Yeah, man. Might have to reach out to my aunt. You know, shout out to all our people in armed services, man.
SPEAKER_05Y'all holding it down for us. I know you guys don't really veterans. You know what I mean? I y'all don't really get the thanks that deserve.
SPEAKER_06But we up here at 8080. Thank you guys for protecting us, making sure we stay safe. I beloved country, stay safe. I sound like a whole patriot right now.
SPEAKER_01My homegirl's in Germany right now. I pray for her too. She in Germany like that. She's stuck out there? Nah, she's in the military. Uh oh, she's stationed out there. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So I pray for her, I pray for her family, I pray for everybody. Like this Listen.
SPEAKER_06Are you praying for uh Justin Bieber?
SPEAKER_01Man, listen, I've been praying for that man since he went on a tangent. There's just so much going on, like I like that. I like that. He took away with that. He started listening. I just felt like the people needed to hear that. So nobody feels alone. Nah, that's a fact, man. But speaking of people being alone, JB, you know, Justin, the beeps. I've been praying for that man.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, man. He's been looking a little uh unhinged as of lately. I'm not even gonna lie.
SPEAKER_01I think he just doesn't care no more. But I also think that it's a manic episode and and it has a lot to do. And listen, don't shoot the messenger. But like I said, me being, you know, a conspiracy theorist. Like I me with my little theories and shit, like I I my intuition never steers me wrong. I'm sorry. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_06Nope.
SPEAKER_01Nope. And and and and a lot of things that I've seen over the years, and nobody's gonna be talking about things that the industry wants to like cover the the sky with their hands and saying, oh no, that's not happening. Nobody's gonna continue bringing it up. Because what are you gonna say? Everybody's crazy? Everybody's losing their mind?
SPEAKER_06It's not like a cop out, it's just an easy ass cop out. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and I think that people are reacting to it now, you know? Like I because it's no longer a thing of keeping it on the hush. That's it.
SPEAKER_06Motherfuckers are blowing up now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like the whistleblowers are out there, ain't nobody safe. Like so with what he may be enduring and what's going on mentally for him, might be some shit that he probably encountered, some sort of trauma, unfortunately, because that's what it appears as. Right. You know, so I don't know.
SPEAKER_06For context for the audience, the Beebs and Ursha baby, they they engaged in a heated argument last week at Jay-Z and Beyonce's Grammy party, I think. Yeah. And considering Bebe's behavior towards Usher over the years, because I I keep seeing everywhere that he's been uh he's been kind of distant towards Usher for the couple of years now. Do you do you believe like alright? Well that they the the extended relationship is like mentor protege, yeah. That dynamic, right?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Correct.
SPEAKER_06And this is gonna be a loaded question, my bad. So do you you think there was some type of foul play somewhere along the line like I beaves beginning of his career?
SPEAKER_01Well, there's a lot of things that that that are circulating on the web, you know what I'm saying? Like I I'm the type to tune into a lot of like those videos and like inspect shit and you know, connect. I like to play connected dots a lot, and you know that, you know? So I I I go all the way back in time and from what I've seen, what I've heard, a lot of things just didn't sound right. Yeah, yeah. So like, you know, like Usher supposedly at 3-4 in the afternoon talking about he was, you know, he was gonna give a gift to LA Reed, like that's yeah, that's well You know what I'm saying? Like, like fuck you mean kind of gift, man. Yeah, like because so apparently this is what he wrote in his in his memoir that Usher gifted him Bieber. That he gifted him Bieber? Yeah, yeah. So that that right there, like kind of like there was something else that I watched. I don't know if it was Netflix or something. I saw something recently, like a month or two ago, and it was an interview like as a part of the doc. I don't remember what the hell I was watching, but it was talking about it, and I said, the way he just it just rolled off of the tongue. I just looked at him like is this nigga sick in the head?
SPEAKER_06Like as much as I don't want to believe I don't want to believe any like Usher got this doing any wrongdoing to be or has done any wrong to be.
SPEAKER_01But Usher was groomed himself.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I was gonna be able to do it. Usher was groomed himself. He was groomed by Puff. You know what I'm saying? And they turned Puff was groomed by Andre Harell. So it could have been a whole domino effect and just passing down just nasty fucking just just nasty methods of of handling their artists and shit. It's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and and and he was a handler, and that's and that's exactly what it could probably be. I'm not gonna say that this is facts because this this is this is just my speculation and this is what I've gathered. And no, it's not going over here saying what other content creators are putting out there, because yeah, like some of it is entertaining, it's cool, whatever, because there may be things that you don't hear or read up on like in other places, so it's like, oh yeah, oh yeah, they said that. Let me go fact check this real quick. Yeah, because sometimes that that's my thing. Like, I don't believe everything that I hear on social media. Yeah, you can't, no, you really gotta do your due diligence. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? But but the way that it sounds as far as like the context, the dialogue that's put out there, the shit that's in your face. Yeah, a lot of people look past it because they in they in the moment, you know what I'm saying? They're not looking for signs and people's like ulterior motives and shit like that. Like 100%, yeah.
SPEAKER_06It's always a hidden agenda, especially when you're in that type of position, when you're new into the industry and all that shit.
SPEAKER_01You ain't really thinking about he was only like what like 12? Yeah, something like that. 14 when he was in Diddy's crib for 48 hours.
SPEAKER_06He was for sure. Boy, I forgot about that.
SPEAKER_01But you like come on, like, and and the kid looks scared. Kid looks scared. 48 years old. 48 hours.
SPEAKER_06If anything would have happened, if anything did happen to him, this is all the work of uh Andre Hurrell, man. Like he really created monsters, bro. And I'm speculating, but like I I I I gotta I gotta think that definitely happened. Like Andre Hurrell definitely fucked over not that sounds crazy. Ayo, man. I mean, no, hell no, ain't no Ayo. It probably is true. Yeah, he probably did fuck Puff, man. You know what I'm saying? Puff intern with Usher, because Usher used to be in Puff's crib when he was around Bieber's age. Like he discovered Usher way before we even knew about Usher.
SPEAKER_01Well, was it? He he Usher is originally from Tennessee, Chattanooga. Chattanooga. Chattanooga, yeah. Yeah, he's from Tennessee. No, he not. So he not.
SPEAKER_06Which from backwoods type part of the country or whatever. Like, I don't I don't know, bruh.
SPEAKER_01Which which brings me to To the recent interview that that he just dropped. Um that Forbes just dropped. I didn't watch that. Yeah. Basically, he was talking about how he's opening up some shit, a boys and girls club. He's gonna he he invested a million dollars with Big Sean in Detroit. He said that he went to Detroit back in 2008, supposedly. Okay. Um, and I don't know, he had some other things going on. He had, you know, other business dealings that he was dealing with or whatever, whatnot, which kind of delayed him from getting a jump start on this organization, um, this non-profitable organization that you know they're investing in. And apparently Usher loves it there. He loves Detroit, he loves the D. He's opening a theater and I'm sure he does love the theater. Hey yo, what the fuck I'm sure he does, but that's neither here nor there.
SPEAKER_06Go ahead, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So he's he's opening a theater in Atlanta. Um, so that's another thing. Trying to get back to the communities, apparently.
SPEAKER_06This is why he was talking about the interview?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he was talking about that the entire time. Majority of the time, he also mentioned um Puff, obviously, because Yeah, I did see that clip. Yeah, but it wasn't just solely on Puff, like he was being asked, like basically, like, you know, who who was like probably like the greats, or who has done what, or like as far as like an influence or impact in his life. Right. And he stated that Puff was like he was it's legacy. It's a legacy when it comes to Puff because he invested in him. Like, you know, he helped build up who he is today, you know what I'm saying? Like, and yes, like you said, he groomed him. Like he grew and and molded him into the person, you know, he contributed to that. I don't want to say like overall, yeah, right, but he definitely had some part into it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, at some point, you can take control of your actions too, my brother. Exactly. We can't even just blame your mentor. At some point, you gotta take the wheel.
SPEAKER_01But according, he was saying to him was basically like that people make mistakes.
SPEAKER_06That's a hell of a mistake, my bro.
SPEAKER_01First of all, you it was a mistake, even like even falling into that trap, like continuing the conversation or the discussion surrounding Diddy. You know what I'm saying? Because now you catch a mad heat, like everybody talking about it. It's just like you look stupid. Like, why would you even do that? And people are speculating, like, are you doing this because Diddy's coming home? So you're trying to like save face now, like, and you want to stay on his good side? Because whether we know, like whether whether or not he comes home and he's still up, is he still gonna have that same power as he did once before? That's a good question. Because you just never know. It's Diddy. Yeah, it is. You know what I'm saying? It's Diddy. It's Diddy. So you know, like, we don't we don't know. We don't know if he's gonna be up, we don't know if he's gonna be down. So, like, which path are you gonna choose? Like, pick your poison. Like, and that's that's where people are sitting at right now. And I and I and I could dig that because it's just like he's saving face now. I don't I don't recollect him being in the courtroom. Who uh Ursh? Yeah, Mr.
SPEAKER_06Raymond.
SPEAKER_01Mr.
SPEAKER_06Raymond, yeah. Nah. I think the only real big notable public figure I seen was Kanye. Was Yeah and there was somebody else. I feel like it was somebody else, but I've never seen Usher.
SPEAKER_01It's still coming to me. Pause.
unknownHey yo, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01But back to Biebs. So all of that to say this. I think well, supposedly there it's rumors, this argument that occurred between them. Some people are saying that it's true, some people are saying that it wasn't the way that that the picture's fake. The picture's fake, it's AI. Oh, okay. That's flowing on the web, right now. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06It was a context. Nobody really knows the context.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but if it were to play out that way, it could probably be some built-up frustration of Usher probably doing that interview and talking about Diddy, right? It could be maybe some differences that they never settled out in the past. Right. Maybe there was some dealings. There's there's rumors going around a source supposedly close to Justin. He was never really nice to Usher.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. I was so surprised when I seen that. I'm like, this is a guy that helped establish your career in a sense, you know what I'm saying? I mean, there has to be a reason why he doesn't like Usher. There's a lot of people. They like each other, but like I've never really seen them in the public together.
SPEAKER_01Like intertwined, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06Like they never work together. Do they have a song together?
SPEAKER_01I feel like they have maybe one. Maybe like at the at the top of his career, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I always wondered why they never collabed on anything. Like, you know what I mean? Justin's an incredible singer. Usher is a legend, you know what I mean? I always wondered that.
SPEAKER_01But you know, God forbid if something really like something really did happen to him. I blame the parents.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, for not overseeing.
SPEAKER_01Because I'm sorry, like I'm my kid is being discovered. He wants this, he wants to be a a singer.
SPEAKER_06And he's from Canada. So he's going to the United States by himself to be with these grown-ass men who you You don't know from a canopy. Right, yeah. But you feel like you have to trust them because you know they put him in a position where, you know, everybody set for life. Right. So it's just it's it's kind of like the Aaliyah situation. My parents was like minding their business and shit like that. And they was just like, yo, I don't we get in these ducats, bro.
SPEAKER_01Like that's crazy. How you turn a blonde out of that? Like kind of like it's like queer pro crow. Like, yeah, that's that's that's yes, that's exactly what it is. Yeah. Like that's crazy. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_06I couldn't have said that any better.
SPEAKER_01Like it's sad because if like something really happened to Justin, like, it'll be unfortunate because then everybody's gonna paint him out like as if like he's just losing his mind. And he oh, it's the drugs, it's this, it's that. There's trauma there. Oh, there's a lot of shit that led up to that. Yeah, yeah, it's a lot of buildup and and he ready to he ready to explode.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. And like he can't contain anymore if you if they've seen him bugging out on Arsh. Yeah, worry. So it's just like every time I see you, I'm gonna tell you about yourself. Whatever the case, we don't even know what's going on, but like I'm gonna have to assume. I'ma have to assume. I'm sorry. Something happened. Something definitely happened.
SPEAKER_01Something happened.
SPEAKER_06It's very unfortunate.
SPEAKER_01Something had to had happened. Like that, I think there was I remember when when Diddy was on trial when I was following his his trial. Cause there were rumors that people were like getting subpoenaed and shit. Supposedly Justin was gonna get like, or that he did get subpoenaed to come in and testify, I guess. But he did it. And there was never any like further updates regarding that, but I think he did say he did say I think he took to X or to threat something and stated that he was not subpoenaed, in fact. But then it's but then again, like is it like are you just saying that because you protecting because you it's not that you're Yes That's a part of like a person who's a survivor who's you know I'm saying like who's going through some shit that the unknown, like we just don't know what's going on behind the scenes, right? That's offending. We're just regular people. The fuck do we know? That's offending. We don't know what be going on. But they're gonna pres they're gonna portray it as if it's not, you know. Um I don't know. Prayers, prayers uh praise up to the beeps, man. To the beebs, yo.
SPEAKER_06I I you know, in my in my opinion, I think things started taking a left turn after yummy. That's when he started switching up his look and all that. Yeah, started getting crazy tattoos, he got skinny, shaved his head, and then there was Brittany.
SPEAKER_01There was there was there was um whatchamacallit too with with the yummy yum video.
SPEAKER_06A lot of hitting messaging and that shit. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Or maybe that's just a conspiracy theorist on us.
SPEAKER_01Right. But that's what they'll say. We'll let them tell it though. Yeah, we'll let them tell it. We'll let them tell it. Because ain't no way that I if I'm an artist, I'm making all this money, or yeah, yeah, I'm making all this money for record labels and companies and this one and that one. And I'm not gonna sit there and co-produce my videos and put shit that, you know what I'm saying? Like implement and incorporate certain things that I feel like would be will serve best to the to the song, to the record. Right, right, yeah. You know what I'm saying? I'm not gonna do what you think, like as far as your visuals are concerned, like I'm not gonna do it because you think it's great. I'm gonna I'm gonna do whatever I wanna do because I already did what I had to do. I made you the money.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So now let me let me be a part of this. Let me run this show. Right. And and I feel like that's where he I don't know.
SPEAKER_06Yo, shout out to Beeves, bro. Man, it's a credible man. So uh pray yourself for that, man. I hope I hope nobody really touched the booty hole. No, I'm joking.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, but I hope nothing happened to that kid, bro.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, what about that video when he's in the club with Puff and what's that football player name? You talking about and then like he wasn't saying, it wasn't a football player.
SPEAKER_01It was Tatum. Oh, was it? Was it a football yeah?
SPEAKER_06Pretty boy with the with the he caught the ball one hand like that? Odell Beckham.
SPEAKER_01Odell. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Odell. Yes, yes, yes. Oh, yeah, when he came up, yeah, it looked like he was topping somebody off.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't think he did that shit, bro.
SPEAKER_06That was crazy.
SPEAKER_01I don't think I think that people he was probably lit. He was probably super lit. He probably threw up.
unknownOh nah, man.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? Or maybe he, or maybe he probably hit a you know what I'm saying? Bumped the line. Like I don't know.
SPEAKER_06Hit a bump real quick.
SPEAKER_01Real quick.
SPEAKER_06Like that wrong.
SPEAKER_01That's how you know I don't with the white girl. Pulls. White. No shade.
SPEAKER_06You know what I'm saying? Yeah, man. Yeah, prayers up to uh beeps, man. For sure, for sure. Yo. So Hove has been in the headlines as of lately.
SPEAKER_01He's been on a lot of conversation.
SPEAKER_06He's all over the blogs. I've seen this guy being interviewed from some guy from GQ. It seemed like he's in full press run mode. And oh Lord, that was a bell. Oh yeah, that was definitely a bell. Yeah, so I don't know. He's been all over the internet. I've been seeing a lot of people bashing Ho. And mostly generation, what is this generation? Alpha? Some shit.
SPEAKER_01I don't know what these kids are.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, these motherfuckers are like bugging out, like they're saying he's not relevant. Do you feel like he's relatable to us regular folks now? I mean obviously not.
SPEAKER_01So that's that is the question. Like, is he still relatable or has he outgrown the average listener?
SPEAKER_06I don't hope is culturally relevant to the culture.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. You know what I'm saying? Okay.
SPEAKER_06I can definitely say he is not relatable to the regular folk anymore. Like, he has surpassed a level of success that nobody has reached. Nobody in his audience has reached like not that we are. You know what I mean? Like it'll take years to get to where this man at. But after the Magna Carla Holy Grail album, that's when I started thinking that. I'm like, this guy, he he was just so used to talking about his his drug dealing days back in the day and all that shit. And I'm pretty sure some of us in the hood could relate to that in a sense or whatever. But now the Magna Carla Holy Grail album, he was talking about buying artwork, you know, Picasso's and shit like that, you know, going to Maldives. I don't even know how to spell that shit. You know what I'm saying? It's just like, no, we can't even relate no more. You like, you like this is rich rap now at this fucking point. You know what I'm saying? But culturally relevant, I yeah, that's hove, bro.
SPEAKER_01You know, but I think that's why he said in the interview, like that he can't even listen to 444.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You peeped that? Yeah. When he said that? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was like, okay, but why?
SPEAKER_06It's his most vulnerable album to date. I think he's past that stage in his life where uh because the album was about it's an apology to Beyonce. Back. I love that album. Do you think that artist is the most mature album to date?
SPEAKER_01I ain't mean to cut you a long time. No, you're good. But do you think that artists is today like they following his blue his blueprint?
SPEAKER_06His blueprint, no. No.
SPEAKER_01Obviously not, right?
SPEAKER_06No.
SPEAKER_01I just had to I just had to dish that up.
SPEAKER_06Ain't nobody trying to get wealthy. These motherfuckers are like Which we had a conversation about. These motherfuckers are living in the moment. They're not trying to make investments, they're not trying to do none of that shit. They just get in their bag and they blowing it in the club and on jewelry and all that shit. Like this guy, he always knew that rap was not gonna be forever. He's almost he's 56. You know what I'm saying? Like, he got kids. Yeah, he's been making investments with his No, hell no. You don't have a rapper doing that. And even people from his class.
SPEAKER_01And obviously, he from what it looks like, he was able to separate the past from who he is today. You know, yeah, and his in his telling, obviously. Like his posture, the way he speaks, yeah, the way he conducts himself in general, yeah. In certain um spaces, whenever we are able to see, right? Because they're so private that we sometimes I'll be forgetting about Hove. I'm not even gonna lie. Like, in the sense of like, I'm not saying like, oh, like he never existed, like I forgot about Holy.
SPEAKER_06No, yeah, the man is an enigma now, you know what I mean? Like the whole mystery. Yes, like you know, and that's great. I do love that. I I definitely love that. Staying out the way? Yeah, staying out the way, just building on my legacy, just you know, raising my kids. I got my beautiful wife. We travel everywhere, we smoke weed on yachts, all type of shit. Yeah, I fucking I I I love that on super yachts at that.
SPEAKER_01Like dodging Tina's gumbo. Yeah, yeah, man.
SPEAKER_06And oh Oh shit. Damn. I heard that gumbo was ass.
SPEAKER_01Dodging the gumbo.
SPEAKER_06Oh man. Yeah, no, man. No, of course not. He's not relatable. That ain't even a bad thing in the first place. Like, I feel like everybody at some point should be able to transcend to some higher level at some point. You know what I mean? Like, you don't want to keep, you don't want to have a lengthy career and still doing the same shit for the past 20, 30 years. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know. So I obviously, if it's gonna get to that point, he's a fucking billionaire. No, he's not relatable to us anymore. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
SPEAKER_01Ain't nothing wrong with it. Ain't nothing wrong with it at all. Hendrix.
SPEAKER_06Hendrix.
SPEAKER_01But do you think that he's more corporate rather than cultural? I think so. He's more, he's more corporate than cultural.
SPEAKER_06I mean because he don't really dive in on cultural shit too much, man. Like, cause he, like I said, he's a mystery. You barely pop out. As a matter of fact, these interviews of the last past few days has been the first time we publicly seen, well, not the first time we publicly seen Ho, but the first time he has spoken publicly in this manner or whatever. Like, yeah, we see him at the Super Bowl and all that shit. We'll see him on TMZ somewhere. But it's the first time he's actually like sat down, had an interview, let us know what's going on in his life and all that stuff. And yeah, it's it's I don't know. What was the question again?
SPEAKER_01No, like if if he's more corporate than more corporate.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I don't know. I think it's a I think it's a balance.
SPEAKER_01I think it's a balance, too. I think it's a balance. I agree with you, bro. I'm not even gonna lie. I really do agree with you on that stance.
SPEAKER_06He's not really sh like really leaning on one end of the spectrum. Like, I think he's dead in the middle. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01He did mention well, I don't think he mentioned it voluntarily, but I think it was the whole conversation to talk about you know, K Dot and performing Super Bowl. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. He said it. He was like, it was what we said, it was a business thing. Apart from the fact that he's nothing personal. Nothing personal. Yeah. Apart from the fact that he he's cool with Kendrake, and but he also has respect for both of them. Right? And he said that, you know, with dealing with that, and then not only that, but also what was I gonna say, with with the whole Epstein shit. Yeah. You know, he's like, yo, like it was a very vulnerable time for him. Right. It was a vulnerable situation.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, he was really upset that he had his name dragged through that situation.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, I would be too, because then now I gotta sit here and how am I gonna deal with it? How am I gonna deal with this without exploding, right? And and losing it all because I reacted to shit that I know that's not even true, you know.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but it's so great because the shit was so outlandish, nobody believed that shit. Yeah, 1996, he was with that speed.
SPEAKER_01We did have that conversation.
SPEAKER_06Come on, the nigga was still in Brooklyn selling rocks, bro. Marcy projects. Yeah, he was still in Marcy. That was like the start of his career. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like, I'm pretty sure he was still in Marcy, you know what I mean? Like, or whatever he was, he was in the hood.
SPEAKER_01I mean, not not that.
SPEAKER_06Not that people wasn't getting invitations out there in these streets, you know what I'm saying? No, but he wasn't even at the level that he's at. No, of course. Of course not. He was nowhere near that. Like, yeah, Jay-Z was just a little bit. He wasn't rubbing shoulders with not at that time. How the fuck are you gonna rub shoulders with Jeffrey Epstein in 1996, bro? That's fucking 30 years ago. Maybe maybe Duddy was. He don't fuck with Puff at all. Take that, take that, take that. Nah, I'm not taking shit. I ain't taking shit, dog. Take that, take that, take that. Yeah. How do you feel about his thoughts on battle rap? Well, not battle rapping, like this, you know what I mean? Like the battle rap culture and shit.
SPEAKER_01I feel like I I agreed with a lot with what he said about the whole battle rap shit. I just feel like at some point it's just like you can have fun with it, right? Like, like he said, have fun. Yeah, yeah. But at some point you gotta, yeah, you know what I'm saying? You gotta debt it because it's just like things like what happened, like with the whole motherfuckers Drake's security guard getting shot. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? People popping up to his crib and trying to get on his property, and it was just way too much going on.
SPEAKER_06It was getting too personal.
SPEAKER_01It was getting way too personal, and don't nobody need to lose their lives, and people got way too much to lose. I I feel like we done seen it time and time again, you know. I feel like artists is dying and shit.
SPEAKER_06Motherfuckers thought that's how you're supposed to like do it, or whatever.
SPEAKER_01Because you know, back in the day when when motherfuckers, but people, but but they but people was going toe to toe for real. Yeah, it was standing on what they was talking, yeah. And and we had this conversation on one of our episodes also. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? At that time, they they wasn't bluffing, right? All that shit that they was talking on them records, they was actually enacting.
SPEAKER_06That's a fact. You know what I'm saying? They were cut from a different cloth, man. They were they were street guys that became rappers. And you know what I mean? Like, so yeah, nigga, like, oh I shouldn't have said that, my bad. I'll bleep that out. Yeah, so like yeah, they definitely stood on business, you know what I mean? Like, it was ready to take it to the streets, all type of shit. You know what I'm saying? But um, I really feel like those guys was trying to emulate that, and it didn't necessarily have to go there. Like, you guys are like very well respected, very, you know, successful, very wealthy rappers, very significant to the culture. You know what I mean? Like, we didn't need to hear everybody's dirty laundry like that. Like, that shit got aired out crazy. It was just way too much. And it really push uh everybody getting involved and poking at people's families and kids and other people fancy work.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like you got other celebrities that's not even rappers, like coming into the, you know.
SPEAKER_06And I felt uncomfortable because I know none of y'all like that. You know what I mean? Like it basically not like us. My favorite, my favorite beef of all time, pause, is Jada Kiss and Beanie Siegel. Cause them niggas they upped it on each other for sure. But like they would they they were so like heavy in the streets that they knew like nah, we can't somebody gonna die. Yeah, somebody gonna die if we don't stop this shit at some point. Like, and I really like that was a gritty time, man. The smack DVD era, all that stuff, man. Yeah, but these guys, like, and and those guys back then, they weren't at the level we got Kendrick and Drake is right now, whatever. I'm like, yeah, I'm playing with too much money. You know what I mean? Yeah, I got to be doing that. Like, that's just crazy. I agree with him. It seemed like a lot of rappers in the in the industry don't agree with him. Yeah. Joey Badass, old rapper Moni Love, they don't, they they didn't like his his opinion on that, like, at all. But everybody's entitled to their opinions.
SPEAKER_01Everybody's entitled. Joey Badass been he's been popping it too. That's for sure. He he's been on the he's been on the blogs, like talking his shit, and and I that's why I respect him even more than I respect a lot of people who's already out there, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06I I honestly think that um he's not he's not far off, especially in this in this day and age, he ain't far off from his opinion. I don't think we it's necessary, you know what I mean. I get that um battle rapping is a pillar of hip hop, yeah. It's like graffiti and dance and all that shit.
SPEAKER_01But just you heard what you said, a pillar.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, just one of the pillars.
SPEAKER_01Just one. Yeah, and it's it's not like you know, like like the rest of the stuff that we were talking about, like the breakdancing and all of that shit. Like it's so much that comes into this culture that makes it what it is, right? And and more and more day by day, year after year, obviously there's gonna be something more that's being implemented into this, right? Something more additional, something more generic, and it's gonna happen, more organic. Yeah, I meant to say it's gonna continue happening, of course. However, it doesn't change. It doesn't change what it's supposed to be overall, right? You know what I'm saying? Yeah, like and and that's just music, it's art.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, even though shout out to Hovey, he's not far off. Nah, shout out to Hovey, he ain't he ain't far off, man.
SPEAKER_01Oh, the shows are sold out, like oh boy, yeah. We gonna like this this is crazy, like yeah, that's this shit's nuts, man.
SPEAKER_06This shit is nuts. Just just beating us. Anyway, but and I gotta watch that interview by the way. I didn't I didn't watch it in this entire thing.
SPEAKER_01But speaking, speaking of marriages and Hove and B like working on this shit, right? Like their marriage and everything that they're doing right now. Yeah, rumor has it. Rumor has it, rumor has it. Rumor has it. And I've been seeing this shit floating on the blogs like a little too much lately. That I'm just like, I don't know. This is this shit, a lot of this is a little dainty. This is a lot of things going on. There's a lot of things going on and things being said, and I'm like, what's not being said? Because there's some right, what's up? Spill it. My son, my son Terrence Howard, like is out here doing these interviews. Like, I just need you to stop. Nah, this man. Yo, yo. This man. I never took him serious after I watched Big Mama's house. Yep. Oh, yeah, I forgot he was in that booty, bro. Take that man serious, yo. Nothing. That's why I went. I forgot he was in that book. I was doing flow paper. I couldn't take him seriously that shit.
SPEAKER_06Nah, I never took him serious with that shit.
SPEAKER_01I swear to God.
SPEAKER_06Trying to make this music, man.
SPEAKER_01With the slick back.
SPEAKER_06Yo, come on, man. A pimp named Terrence.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, the way I want to laugh right now. No. Nah, he's been he been wildin'. Yeah, with this. Like I've been seeing just mad random shit. No, it's it's it's something that was misinterpreted. I'm gonna look for it because I don't want to say it wrong. But it's speculation based off of like what he said. It's like he's like dropping hints, I guess. Supposedly back in the day, him and B had a thing. Oh yeah. It's not it's not fact-checked yet. You know, I don't think it'll ever be. Honestly. Oh boy. And that's no shade at him because he is somebody, you know. He he's not no he ain't no sucker or no lane. Like, I'm not gonna say he ain't down playing.
SPEAKER_06He didn't get blackballed from the industry, though.
SPEAKER_01He definitely did, and but that's why a lot of people saying that maybe the like the rumors are true. Like maybe they didn't have the house. I don't know. This is so like Howard's reputation for controversial. Or unusual statements.
SPEAKER_06You you think he uh he's doing that for the for to gain clout, or you think he's really on to something?
SPEAKER_01Some people are saying it's clout.
SPEAKER_06I'm not gonna lie, he's I've been even like conspiracy theorists stuff, I've been seeing him do it on podcasts. Yeah, he be airing shit out. He did some like some shit where he like solved like the world's hardest math problems. He said he's a math genius or some shit. I don't know. He's all over a lot of podcasters, just I'm always seeing his face mad podcasters.
SPEAKER_01Oh maybe he's cooking something up too. Yeah, we said that about um heroin. Hey yo, what the fuck? Cooking up that cook crack. He's cooking up something, just like something up, and look, boom, came out with some shit.
SPEAKER_06He did.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. We definitely did. We gotta revisit that action. Oh sheesh. But anyway.
SPEAKER_06That's funny.
SPEAKER_01Listen, I don't know. It supposedly like they were they were dealing with each other, like, I guess during a time that her and Jay wasn't doing good.
SPEAKER_06Or oh, they little break.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06I feel like, yeah, at the beginning of their relationship, I think Hove probably cheated on her a lot. You know? For sure. I'm sure. Duh. Duh. He definitely cheated on her a lot. I can see that. I could see that. So I wouldn't even put it past Terrence Hour. And he, light skinned dude with with with green eyes, man. You know what I'm saying? Like nice ass eyes. Yeah, that's the cheat code, man. Yeah, that's a cheat code. Y'all ladies know it. Got nice teeth, nice smile. He don't talk like this, man. Yeah, yeah. Put the beat on, man. Whoop that trick, huh? A kid. Oh shit. I mean, I that would have been a good look. What him and Beyonce? Ooh. You know what? They would look nice together. She likes she likes older looking dudes anyway. Yeah, I think so.
SPEAKER_01No, but now that I look at Jay, like I'm like, yo.
SPEAKER_06He is getting up there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but but but but but I think that like all the like over the years and all the experiences, and I just feel like he experienced life already.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That he's so mature, it's it turned him into a mature individual. Right. You know, the obstacles he had to go through and to get to where he is. Right, right. Right? Like the things that he's done to be where he is currently at. Yeah. You know. You know, having his family and settling down, like that shit, that shit will do it to you. Oh yeah. You know, but they do they do look good together.
SPEAKER_06They do.
SPEAKER_01They do like I feel like they're not. I feel like that's a bad. No, I'm talking about Jay and Oh, Jay Beyonce. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06I can't even see them without each other at this point. At this point, mm-mm. Yeah. I don't think a lot of people agreed with it before because you know. Don't say it. I'm not gonna say it. Intrusive thing. The intrusive thoughts. I let those win a lot. I ain't gonna lie. I let those win a lot. Oh my goodness. He beating my ass. Like, say this, please.
SPEAKER_01Sound like Anna. She be like, my intrusive thoughts. I'm like, girl.
SPEAKER_06Girl, I understand. Anna, I understand, girl. No, no. Shit I want to say just now. All that nice shit I said about Hove in the last segment, he'd have just been like this motherfucker.
SPEAKER_01He's gonna cook us next.
SPEAKER_06Blackball us. Don't do that, please. We barely getting up the ground, Hove. Don't do it. I ain't say it.
SPEAKER_01Ooh, look.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, but um, I don't know. Terrence.
SPEAKER_01If it's not true, he just needs to stop. Just stop, stop. So and even if you're not saying it directly, because that's what's that's what's being said. Words are being misconstrued.
SPEAKER_06And in his case, I hope it's I hope it's true. Because other than that, now you a little hinge, you bugging out now, bro. Like, I don't know. You're gonna be finished. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Think you got blackballed before?
SPEAKER_06They're gonna blackball your life.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. You see, motherfuckers is dropping like flies, so.
SPEAKER_06Nobody's gonna be missing Terrence Howard. Don't let me tell it. I hate to say it like that. This is the last time a man been in a movie. Um I saw him in white recently. Right. If he is in the movies, direct the DVD. It's like D-level studio quality shit. Oh, shut up. Intrusive thoughts again. Dead serious.
SPEAKER_01There goes those truths. Intrusive thoughts again. I will take my chances with Terrence Howard, then Hove. Listen, everybody and their statements these days. Starting and finishing it off with uh Miss Young Miami, aka Carisha. Oh, I thought Carisha, aka Young Miami. Yeah. Recent interview with Charlemagne was interesting. Rather interesting to say the least.
SPEAKER_06Off subject, real quick. The Carisha type used to be the type that gravitated towards me all the time. Oh my god. I I don't know why I like that. Yeah, you got a hundred mil for? No, not like that. I'm talking about the little Whoa with the little bubbles.
SPEAKER_01High maintenance, Siddity at Siddity, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, diva. Those used to be the girls that always She's a diva. She's a D. But yeah, go ahead. What are you supposed to say? I'm sorry. That was irrelevant information to tell you.
SPEAKER_01No, no, ain't nothing wrong with it. Ain't nothing wrong with it.
SPEAKER_06Ain't nothing wrong with it. We like those conversations. Yeah, we do. Oh, we do. We do up here at Ada Weights and Combo, man. We love those type of conversations. But those are conversations that you guys don't get to hear. No, no, yeah. It's just certain things the world cannot listen.
SPEAKER_01It's for our ears only. Yeah, but Carisha. Carisha, please. Please. Stay off the blocks. Why would you go? Like, no, no. I I actually enjoyed the interview with Charlemagne. I think it's because no, you're good, bro. I think it's because like Charlemagne knows when to ask the questions at the right time. He's great. He asked all the right questions at all at the right time.
SPEAKER_06Like, oh my God. He's absolutely the best, man. But what anything notable that stuck out?
SPEAKER_01I think a lot of things that stuck out, like as far as I didn't see that either. The show where her and JT, I didn't really follow their fallout. Yeah. I know of their fallout. You know, she's like, oh, I'll forever love her. Like they known each other since they were younger, they were kids. But it's just like she's like, you know, like me and JT want two total opposite things, you know.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, she said she'd been acting moving different since she came out of prison, right?
SPEAKER_01But that she's been moving different ever since she came out of prison. She stated that a lot of people was acting different. Like, and she was just like, you know, like I can't force myself, in other words, to be in places that I'm not wanted, or people just doing shit that served me no purpose. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, she decided to take the route that she took, and you know, it's no hard feelings, no, no pun intended, but it is what it is.
SPEAKER_06Like you should say everybody else around her is bugging out too?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she like, you know, I think she said something about her mom. A lot of shit. A lot of shit. I think her mom, what she said? Oh, she no, she got locked up. There was a point in time that she was locked up. Miami. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. And she's like, you know, that she at some point had to take care of everything when she came home. And she's like, you know, I'm all about me and my kids at this point. Yeah, yeah. You know, I'm not I'm not worried about all the extra shit.
SPEAKER_06I didn't even know she had kids. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01I didn't even know she had kids. I said, eh. So you got kisses?
SPEAKER_06No, okay. Alrighty. Well, heard that.
SPEAKER_01Her relationship with with Diddy, her writing the character letter. You know, Charlemagne did ask her questions as far as like, you know if like people's perspective or like way of being after she sent out that character letter for Diddy. Like, did people start treating her differently, or or did she lose brand deals? Did she lose money? And she's like, Yeah, that she lost a lot of money. She lost a lot of money. And she said that she did it because she's not denying or saying like w whatever was presented in the court or during his trial was wrong, or like that it didn't happen, but she's like, that's not the person that I know. And that's kind of the same thing that Usher said.
SPEAKER_12Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying? Like, oh, like, whatever happened in court. In other words, whatever happened in court is is what happened to them. But that wasn't my experience.
SPEAKER_02Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_01And that's the same thing that I kept hearing in both of the um interviews. And and and actually, I just learned this today. They both dropped those interviews on the same day.
SPEAKER_06Oh, really? Mm-hmm. Wow.
SPEAKER_01Well, they both not dropped the interviews on the same day, but they they both did the interviews on the same day. So, like, what's the irony in that? Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, it's just like certain things is just being questioned, like oh, but that wasn't my experience. But that wasn't my experience, but that wasn't my experience, but that doesn't def that it doesn't defeat the purpose of like it doesn't change or negate what he has done. Like, granted, we know the culture, like you know what I'm saying? Like, he he has contributed to a lot, and yes, he has brought a lot of people out to where they are in their life right now, currently, like he has contributed to a lot of people's success stories, right? However He also did some fuck shit, you know? And I don't know why we want to turn a blind eye and act like it never happened or not that it never happened.
SPEAKER_06Motherfuckers just act like they didn't see shit. You hungry? Yeah, eating, yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_01Hey.
SPEAKER_06Astro.
SPEAKER_01Ninja.
SPEAKER_06Anyway. Good boy. Good boy. Yeah, but you know.
SPEAKER_01What what what's your thoughts on that? Like, you know, like what what I basically presented to you because I know you told me that you didn't get to watch either of the interviews. Yeah, I didn't watch either of it. Um but I'm glad that I brought you a little up to speed with what's going on because a lot going on today, folks.
SPEAKER_06I just played, my bad. I don't know, man. I I I just I feel like okay. But something that's something stuck out that you mentioned when you said that everybody around everybody around her is tweaking. Oh my god, whatever. I got another stance on that. What if it's you? Like, how is it convenient that everybody else around you is tweaking? I don't know. Maybe I don't know. I d I I think Diddy got her brain fried. You know what I'm saying? Like, I she loyal to that man. She she quota trust she doesn't trust nobody. Every time she stresses that, she's super loyal to Diddy. I'm I'm speculating, but I don't know. I'm gonna I'm gonna just think that Diddy rewired her brains or something like that, man.
SPEAKER_01Gotta brainwash.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Yeah. Cause I'm I just feel like JT's chillin'. She went oozy. She's minding her business. I think she just wanna, you know, do her solo career thing or whatever. First of all, City Girls is yeah, they're a big deal in the South. They're a big deal amongst the uh the community of women.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_06But they weren't that successful as a group in my eyes. So if somewhere down the line JT just wanted to do some solo shit and and Karecia just got mad at that, then I think it's you.
SPEAKER_01That could be a thing, but that but but but we also know that Diddy that Diddy's known for you know coming up with these bands and they don't they don't ever survive. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? They they don't last. Groups or duos last, so it wouldn't surprise me if he had a part to play in that. I'm just saying, let's really talk about it. Let's really talk about it. You know? Keep the conversation going, folks. Yeah, drop your thoughts in the comments.
SPEAKER_06I'm sorry, I had too much to contribute to that. But I'm a little under the weather.
SPEAKER_01You gotta be sorry, you got me.
SPEAKER_06Uh uh. You guys have me. Uh uh. See, she's picking up the pieces, man. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? Alright, let's get up out of here. Y'all niggas stop.
SPEAKER_03Y'all nigga know what the fuck is going on. BFOL. Yeah, man. B steppers. Big footprints. Pussy.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_06Pussy, pussy, pussy. I like this shit. Okay. Alright, fam. That's a wrap on this ride. Please do remember to keep your head. I said I was gonna come do that no more, right? BFOL, I'm a man. Yeah, so about that. I said last episode I was gonna explain why I'm not doing the outro no more, right? AK knocking out trees like that. Somebody pointed out to me that wind share, not defender. And I swear to god, I didn't do this shit. But somebody pointed out to me that, yo, you kinda do this. So I had to actually watch an episode. And he does do a lot of outro. You know what I mean? So, like, I don't want nobody to think that I'm stealing people's ideas and concepts and all that shit. Nah, gonna be honest with you, even with the original, baby. Very original. Even with the music shit, we're supposed to have DJ KK47 do the music part. So when she backed out of it, and hate to throw her name under the bus like that. Shout out to KK. But when she backed out of it, I had to pick up the pieces. We get rodents, you know what I'm saying? Like, um, yeah, getting rid of that outro. I can't hold it.
SPEAKER_03Oh, and I also was sold you pray on that need the intro needs to be changed also.
SPEAKER_01What intro? The song or intro.
SPEAKER_06That song, not the song, not the song in it.
SPEAKER_03Keep it in the street, I ain't doing it. Oh, music fans.
SPEAKER_01I'll tell you after. I can make an MMI street. It's it was a it was a valid point. Okay, because it says 808 and combos.
SPEAKER_06No, it's 808s and combo. You saying 808 and combos 808s and combo.
SPEAKER_01You couldn't have asked the wrong word, man. It's 808 and combos. You still saying it wrong. Oh my goodness. It's 808s like combos.
SPEAKER_06To the combos. There's no S in the combos.
SPEAKER_01You heard what I said and the combo. I put this bitch in the book. But and and combo. Yeah, we like I said earlier, we don't solely speak about music.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Catching my drip.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, we'll talk about this later. I don't know what the hell you're talking about, man. I'm lost.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Oh man. You'll understand why we don't. No, no, no. I said I said you'll understand how we get old. I can't hold it. Ready to come from my face. Nah, not at all. Not at all. Pause. I'm gonna scrap. I'm gonna watch what I say next. Cause all these pauses need to stop.
SPEAKER_06Oh yeah. Three pieces of advice. Oh show up and show out. Don't let doubt cloud that judgment and never let emotions drop. Shut the fuck up. Please. Please. Oh. I'm gonna let the song. I like this song actually. I'm gonna let that rock. This is 808 and convo. I'm emoji. And here with your girl tip. Signing off. Catch y'all next frequency. I'ma let this rock real quick, man. SPEAKER_06I can't say. It's way too late. Save our souls, baby.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06Let me get it. Let me get it. Come on, man. Talk that shit, bro. Talk that shit. Escape from LA is my shit, too. Too late. That's my shit. Too late. Too late. Yeah. That's my shit. Yeah.
